Brown rot is a calcium deficiency (normally) on apples. we actually had an apple tree we cut down because got nothing from it for several year due to the brown rot.We thought we were missing something on a spray schedule, had another apple start with it and a friend who grows for a farm market he owns solved this for us. last year after adding calcium spray and granular... we finally got jonagolds once again.
