It is a beautiful truck. What engine did the old Mack trucks use, Cummins? I bet the engine in the truck is also a thing of beauty. Mack may have used an International or GM diesel engine or Detroit diesel.

I had a one ton, long bed chevy pickup with a Duramax diesel engine and an Allison transmission. The engine was great, but the transmission wasn't so great. It always overheated going over Raton pass pulling a thirty five foot, fifth wheel trailer. I loved my truck, but I wouldn't drive it today. It's to hard finding a parking spot long enough for it.
