Thanks for the kind words jhp I use grow bags because I have such limited space. when I was a kid we had a huge 2 acre garden and large fruit cellar that was filled every fall with canned veggies along with potatoes, cabbage,winter squash and such. The only advice I offer to those who want to try doing a grow bag garden is that you have to supply the needed fertilizers each plant variety needs on a regular basis beans are about the only veggie I can think of that just doesn't need much for supplements as long as the ph of the potting mix is good there fine. But tomatoes & peppers need the right fertilizers about every 2 weeks after the first month even potting mix that claims it will provide fertilizer for 3 months is pretty much done after 2 or 3 weeks when your growing tomatoes & peppers.
