I planted some Louisiana Green Velvet okra in an area where I had never planted it before. I pulled it today. It grew to 25-28 inches tall and it stopped growing back in late August. The weather conditions and planting area was perfect for growing okra. It should have grown between 4 and 8 feet tall. I took some pictures and they look a lot like those in the pictures above. I expected to find galls, but didn't find any. They just stopped growing.
