Your plant look great for a 2nd year grower!

Do your buckets have drain holes in the bottom? If they do not, you might have a problem at some point if you get some heavy rain.
It is also good to let things from your fertilizer flush out over time.

Other than that, I applaud you for doing something that is not supported by your family. That could be something that would discourage many would-be gardeners.
