I BS'ed my way into putting down tile for a guy one time.
It was the asbestos tile or what ever it was.
He was a land lord and I was trying to get work.
He came by and saw the job and said it was the best looking job he had ever seen and asked how many years I had been doing it.
I told him it was the first one.
I spent years watching my family do this stuff.
Who ever put the tile down in my house was an idiot.
