Here's something that happened to me: One day I was running errands and had just bought a stevia plant. While I was driving I got the most terrible heartburn.
On impulse, I reached over and picked a couple of leaves off the stevia in the passenger seat.
I remember walking into Target later and being amazed that tne heartburn was completely gone.
I have never heard of stevia being a cure for anything but it must have been what cured my heartburn that day.
