Someone needs to turn on the heat and sun here. Even though the sun is shining, it isn't intense this year. I wonder if there is a haze from harvesting grains is filtering the rays.

I have no blooming photos to share, everything is done but a few weeds were still bright green under the leaves that I raked aside yesterday. A good frost here (in the appropriate season, we are expecting a snowstorm tomorrow) usually damages the buds of flower/shrubs and fruit trees.
What conditions does it take to damage buds in warmer climates?
