I picked my first 3 fruits today. One from the plant sharing an EB with the BigBeef and 2 from the same plant sharing with another KP.

I remember Marsha saying to pick before totally ripe so they don't split. We have had horrible winds today (23 MPH sustained + gusts) and then there is suppose to be dangerous thunderstorms late this afternoon. The radar looks bad; it is moving across the state; wind seems from the east though.

So I picked them, pink on the bottom and brown/greenish shoulders. I will give them what it takes to finish ripening inside and take pictures then. They weighed 1.3 oz from the one plant, and 2.3 combined for the other 2.

My 2 plants sharing the EB are so beautiful; so full of fruit and blooms. They have not outgrown their extended cages so hopefully won't be too affected by the storms.
