Let me know what the F2 produces for you ... I have grown F1 for the past few years and have decided that this year is my last because the F2 does not grow true (I have to buy seeds every year). I've made this decision for most of my Hybrids.
As far as the size goes, they are very prolific, but the size is just average for a jalapeño, about the same as the TAM variety.
