Make your own! Try eco-felt (widely available), landscape cloth, burlap (limited life), denim, or whatever is on sale at the fabric store. It's surprisingly easy.

Just Google Grow bags.
You will find a ton of them pre-made and a lot less pricy. Worth |

Gardner's Supply does have a lot of great stuff if you can afford their prices! As Worth said, do some googling and you'll come up with lots of cheaper options that are just as good. Especially look for vendors of nursery or greenhouse supplies.

Thanks for all your replies. It was the wonderful colors that I like so much. Eco felt, I've never heard of it. I'm a sewer, so I know how easy the pots would be, it is just finding the best supplies like the eco felt and good non rotting thread that would hold up for more than one season.
I've made new pads for garden benches, swings, etc and even the fabric that is for outdoors faded so drasticly. It was from JoAnnes, but it was supposed to hold up to sun. I'll google eco felt and see what I can find. |

Eco-felt is just a trademark for a polyester felt product made from recycled bottles. Cheap and sold at Jo-Ann's and Walmart. Colored polyester felt will stand up to outdoor use and the sun for many years.
Acrylic felt is the probably even better though, and also available. It should last forever. |

I'm not sure what you mean by craft felt.. it's not the small sheets of felt used for small arts and crafts projects. This comes in big rolls and is sold by the yard. If you look on the side of the cardboard bolts that the fabric is wrapped around, it has the brand name "Eco-Felt". They also sell other types/brands of felt, but most of it is "Eco-Felt".

Walmart seems to have it in some stores
http://www.walmart.com/search/search...=true&ic=16_64 And Jo Ann's has it by the yard http://www.joann.com/craft-felt-72-w...rds-/prd14843/ I didn't realize it was tough enough to use wet. That's good to know. |

So it looks like the next 50% off coupon I get from JoAnn's will go to Eco Felt. Now, I wonder what colors?

I wonder if the eco shopping bags they sell at dollar tree would work? they are a buck each.. Not sure how porous they are but last time I looked I thought about trying one to see if it will let the water soak thru.. didn't really look for volume but might be big enough?

Zeroma, remember that JoAnn's Q is only good for one cut. I always choose the item I like most and have them cut as many yards in one length that I want and I get it for the discounted price. Anything after that is regular price or on sale.
