Default Example of why DTM is pretty meaningless.....

DTM - Days to maturity from transplant.

This represents my harvest so far - Mexico Midget - tiny, pea sized (44d), Sungold F1 - typical sized cherry tomato (50 days), Blush- smallish oval (53 days) - and Giant Syrian - 14 ounces, red, tend to be heart shaped but vary (51 days)!

Here is Giant Syrian next to Blush - Giant Syrian Blush 1 June 25 2012.jpg Giant Syrian Blush 2 June 25 2012.jpg

Now 51 days is pretty early for Giant Syrian - and for a tomato of that size.

My guess - next to ripen will be Dwarf Lemon Ice (yellow heart shaped dwarf) - will be near a pound, and in the mid 50 day range!

Agreed... I have one Early Girl ("55 day") that went in on April 1. Its first blooms all set fruit but still not ripened...
