Help me name this
Hi folks, I have been growing out Not Chocolate Stripes for several years, and I think it is stable, and I love it. My friend KarenO doesn't like the not this and not that names, and she is right, so let's find a name for it.
It has PL indet. Growth, fantastically productive of medium sized fruit, almost like a multiflora beefsteak. The fruit are chocolate colored with faint striping and wonderful sweet flavor with enough acid to give you a complex flavor, not just sweet. It is smaller, fainter stripes, far more production, and PL, not RL, so it isn't Chocolate Stripes at all. So what should we name it? |

I don't have any suggestions, but it sounds like a winner for flavor.

oh girlfriend, you know me.
You found it, you name it, I kind of love the Ginger reference somehow.... Ginger stripes? Ginger spice Marsha’s ginger stripe Etc etc etc ..... I will be happy to see anything besides not chocolate stripes. Deserves its own name! And I will be proud to write your choice of name on the tag when I plant your seeds this March. Karen |

Ginger Snaps or Ginger Stripes both sound like good names... and it sounds like a great tomato! Post a picture of the beauty please!

I know where the Ginger part comes from, but when I think of Ginger - it doesn't make me think of the taste described above ^ Just thinking outside the box - is the color close to this in the picture? If so, that is Walnut. |

* like too *
It deserves a real name. I like the Ginger snaps suggestion. Or ginger snacks, even tho there are maybe a bit large to snack on? |
