Default Here's a picture of my first Omar's Lebanese

That's Omar on the left of the photo and a Mule Team that I think may be something else on the right.

Two healthy tomatoes....

Default Thank you, both.

Thank you both, very much.

That Mule Team in my wife's left hand is about the average size that we have harvested from them. They aren't too bad for taste, either.

Suze, I don't know if you saw it on the General Discussion, but that Omar's tasted out with high approval.

Default Omar's.......

"how much do those weigh? Do those kind of tomatoes hold the record for size?"

Nah, no records with them. I didn't weigh them because I don't have a kitchen scale, but I'd suppose they were around 2 lbs apiece. OL will get a lot bigger than that from what I've read. Both of these were taken from plants that haven't been 'suckered' or really pampered too much at all. I've just let them grow like they wanted and tried to train them to stay within the cages. I may try to limit the growing leaders a little next year to see just what they will do for size.
