Default Dang hail storm!!!!!

Thats right a hail storm came trough tonight it rained and hailed like cats and dogs and of course it did a good job of trimming my tomato plants.
Not as bad as I have had happen before but it still trimmed my plants.
I'm glad I was raised on a farm and have learned to accept this sort of thing.
It still stinks though.

How did you other folks around here fare with the storm.
I heard there was hail the size of silver dollars up in Round Rock.

Darn TEXAS WEATHER!!!!!

well we had some rain this morning. I had a plant fall over cause the bamboo stake broke in half. But I just picked it all back up. I will not be using bamboo next year. I can tell you that much.

We thought we left the hail behind when we moved from Texas. This is the first hail we've seen in sixteen years.

Friday, penny sized hail shredded our garden It was really "picture perfect", too. The tomatoes fared the best - lost some fruit but only one plant broken.

The lettuce, cilantro, basil and baby beets were pretty much wiped out. It looked like I had taken the weed whacker to them. So, spent all day Saturday cleaning, trimming and replanting. Bummer.

Well, I got some hail today. At first, it was just tiny, then it stopped and went back to torrential rain mode.

About an hour later, I'm inside talking to a client on the telephone and hear this thunderous racket. Took a second or two to dawn on me what was going on -- at first I thought one of the cats was playing with cabinet doors (they have a bad habit of doing that). What it was is golf ball sized hail hitting the roof. Luckily it only lasted about 4-5 minutes, and damage was minor.

I just got done cleaning up.

Looks like we're in for it next. Our sky looks like a box of neopolitan ice cream. We have pink, white and muddy gray sections with setting sunshine interspersed. Hopefully, it'll pass.
