Aunt Ginny's Purple is my favorite tomato. It has always out-produced Stump Of The World, for me. Perhaps this is because I give AGP the best spot in the garden.

To start with but changed over to fish emulsion. Looking at the size of those tomatoes makes me want to give that Neptune stuff a try. |

Neptune's is a fish emulsion. I have used it for years, and have been extremely pleased with the results. Here in the PNW, Alaskan Fishermans is easier to find. I have seen little. if any difference in performance between the two. They both give me as good a tomato as I can expect in our cool summers.

I have used both the "fish", and "fish/seaweed" combo. The one with kelp seems to do even better than the straight fish. They are not cheap, but IMHO, are worth it. They are also cert. Organic. Since they are a high concentrate, a little goes a long way.

I am really considering a fish emulsion and seaweed
Based fertilizer for next year. The garden tone I tried Just did not seem to do a whole lot for my plants. Maybe I should have used tomato tone along with The fish emulsion. |

They are also great as a foliar spray. I wouldn't even grow 'maters without it.
