Not exactly a tomato-based thread, but close enough.
![]() After approximately 5 years looking, I found Duke's on a grocery shelf. It better be worth the wait. And, I still have a further 2-3 month wait to put it on tomatoes. ![]() Reading the ingredients, it appears cider vinegar and oleoresin paprika are what sets it apart from the other mayos that I've tried. |

It has to be opened during a waxing moon and the tide coming in or it wont be any good.

How silly to think an odd or even day would make any difference.
Next you will be telling me you believe in unicorns. ![]() |

Worth,
Not in the ones that poop Skittles, but in the Hebrew "re'em". ![]() |

Then there's Sir Kensington's in the small jar.
![]() I'll have to check again, but I think it comes out to something like 12.00/16 ounces. ![]() |

We tried Dukes a couple of years ago after reading a lot of praise for it online. My wife and I didn't care for it. I think it's a lot of whatever your used to. If I had any street cred, this post would likely have crushed it for many.

Duke's Mayo hails from Greenville, SC! Yay! Greenville! :-)
Read about the mayo's founder, Eugenia Duke. https://www.dukesmayo.com/stories/our-history/ |

Yep! The C.F. SAUER CO took over in 1929. Eugenia Duke couldn't keep up with demand.
