The Tomato Line
The Sun God has been kind this week so I was able to get the rest of my seedlings planted including my surrogate garden. Here is my container plant out and one plant (forth picture left side border) that ended up next to my compost pile. I'll post pictures of the surrogate garden later. Ami

Very nice Ami.
I'm curious about the roofed structure with the trellising... Am I correct to assume that you are trying to control/limit overhead watering? |

Looking good, dude. Send me some of that sunshine. The Cloud Gods have parked their headquarters here for the last week and a half.
The other Ted OBTW, Cherokee Gold and Spudakee both have multiple fruit set and growing (2" plus).

(Am I correct to assume that you are trying to control/limit overhead watering?) Thats exactly what I'm doing. All my special grow outs go in this structure. This year I have Craigs 05-68 and 05-69 grow outs, PV's Spudakee x Novikovs Giant F2 and Green Giant x Yellow Submarine F1. Ami

Super great setup Ami - looks so neat too, and how practical!
I still have 30% more to set out, I am behind the schedule this year, as I had to weed all the beds that were infested with all sorts of nasty weeds that propagate by root pieces... I had to find all the root pieces in the soil, and I am sure I missed a few as some new weedy growth is already showing up. To container (=weed free) growing! Tania
