Big Box is all Sandia. Other box has Big Jim, Aji Amarillo, San Pedro Sweet, and Santa Fe Grande....plus 4 cherry tomatoes to balance the salsa

Dude, you gotta let them ripen. They taste better.
Or do you have a contract for green peppers?

The Hatch Valley is in the Rio Grande Valley. I'm in the Rio Grande Valle, north of Hatch about 180 miles.

Mmmm. Are there too many 'L's in there? Or not enough 'Y's?

![]() I personally keep Pace in business (or try to). Is Original Hot a great salsa? Heck no. Is it good enough for some purposes, like guacamole, chips in front of the TV? Heck yes. And it used to be that you couldn't buy anything else in the supermarket. dustdevil, Starlight, the original commercials had "New Jersey !?!" instead of NYC. Somehow I have always found that funnier. You can find them on youtube, but the resolution is abysmal. There was a whole series of Pace commercials, many of which I'd forgotten.

In all honesty I think you may be a little heavy on the tomatoes for a good salsa.
You dont want to wash out the peppers flavor. ![]() Worth |
