Socrates Bell
Does anyone know if these have been discontinued? I loved the size of these peppers and the thick walls as well, great flavor too.
If they are gone how does Aristotle compare, or maybe Red Knight? |

I was wondering the same thing. Twilley Seeds still offers it but with X3R added. Was curious about Aristole also, have grown Red Knight several years the first fruits are beautiful but the later sets not so much and slow to turn red. The other bell I always grow is King Arthur ( Fat and Sassy ) excellent production and the first to turn red for me here in CO.

For the Hybrid bells, Better Belle II has been the most productive and the first to turn Red of the bells. The original Better Belle was quite good too but the Better Belle Improved was a bust here in Wisconsin.
