I was wondering if anyone here had grown Orchard Baby, and if so, I'd like to know your opinion of it. Thanks!

I grew it. In my opinion, it wasn't so great taste wise and the cobs are so small... I know, I know, it's supposed to be small. Anyway, love the name, don't love the corn. I can send you the seeds I have left if you'd like to try it for yourself. You may be a better corn grower than I.

Thanks, Jen. I have seed. It's been a while since I grew any corn but thought my kids would have fun with it. I'll give it a try and report back.

I picked several ears of Orchard Baby this evening and cooked them right away. They actually tasted really good. They were nice and sweet. Ears averaged about four inches and were very cute. I probably won't have room for any corn next year but it was a fun project for the kids this summer.
