Default Plectranthus amboinicus anyone?

Hello!

I am getting married next month, and thought it might be fun to have an "herb shower". Weve moved several times in the last few years, and Ive got seeds, but the only plant I had kept were chives from my dads, and we bought 2 mints, our sage didnt overwinter....

so, an aunt gets this awesome "broadleaf thyme"- but its a succulent. its labeled plectranthus amboinicus- seems to go by Indian Boragae, Cuban Oregano, Spanish Thyme.... Is this also what goes by "Mexican Oregano?"

Do you have any recipes? it certainly smells good, was thinking chicken....
