Default cucumber nematodes

I have made a good crop of cucumbers and pulled some of the vines and they were absolutely wrapped up in nematode damage. Looked like I was pulling up peanuts that were very productive. The roots were a mass of knots from nematode damage that even caused the main stems to fall apart above the ground. I've only had a few of my tomato plants bothered by nematodes over the past 10 years but no matter where I plant my cucumbers they get decimated by the nematodes. Are there any varieties that are resistant? This year I had out Armenian, Sweet Success, and Spring Swallow. The Sweet Success was the first to fall victim to them.
