Default Quinoa

Has anyone tried growing this ? I got some seeds for the multi-hued Quinoa and it looks so pretty I thought I could grow it for ornamental value, but maybe even get some seeds out of it. I'm in zone 6B, so my season isn't terribly long, but not terribly short either. I figured it could potentially be ready for harvest late September.

I haven't found anything on the internet to really be helpful.
