Default First Setback of the Year: SNOW

Heavy wet snow is falling on this holiday Monday- Victoria Day which is the traditional planting out day in these parts. My outdoor tomatoes are still in pots in the greenhouse. I guess I will be holding off until the temperatures get back to seasonal normals now. My Yellow Canaries, Red Robins and Mirco Gemma (in pots) will have to hold me over until the main season varieties start ripening at the end of July.

I did harvest some baby carrots and mini chingensai (pak choi) yesterday in preparation for transplanting.
