Doctor in the house?
Early this spring (Feb 15) I set out 5 different varieties of tomatoes. All grew luxuriously, bloomed and set fruit. Then the vine leaves began to curl and die near the ground - the tops continued to grow and bloom. Though the indeterminate plants are now 6-foot high, only the tops are continuing to grow.
I understand the only way to get rid of the verticillium wilt fungus in the soil by solarization. Any suggestions? |
