This may seem like a jackass comment by me but there are several threads going on about container mix and what to use.
If I were the thread starter I would be so confused I wouldn't know what to do.
So I have after several days of thought decided not to give my opinion on those threads.

No body has to do what I do but at least dont knock it till you have.
What I use is MG natures care raised bed soil.
There is no real soil/dirt in this stuff.
I use about 2 parts MG to one part perlite and that is it.
Another brand I use is the Kellog's stuff, dont remember which one.
These are the only two I have experimented with in the no drain holes tubs.
If a person reads this and goes off and uses another mix and it fails dont burn my house down.
I am not a big MG fan and I dont get kick backs from them.
But I simply cannot stand behind what I am doing if the recipe uses something else all fancy and complected.
Most of the time I like to keep things very simple.
