Default Oscar's Milkweed

Our youngest son was married last October and dear friends who grow fields of cut flowers for market provided the flowers for the center pieces in hollowed out Iran Squash I grew for the occasion.
I believe these are originally from South Africa and seem to do well here but not that available. We saved all the flowers for drying to make a "keep" sake bouquet for the bride and her mother. The milkweed pods dried with few problems. This spring I pulled them out and seeded them in some flats with soiless mix and was surprised I had good germination. I planted three clumps in our small space and look forward to the butterflies visiting us.
