The orange peppers are mouth watering.... all the o. chudo's look om nom nom.
![]() I didn't have much pepper ambition this year, and my results were even more modest but what the hey, I should show em I guess! Only a few plants survived and the aphids have been a plague, I'm still waiting for a ripe Guajillo but here are my few Jimmy Nardellos, distorted jalapenos, and a lovely Romanian to show on labor day weekend. Romanian is new to me, sweet and thick, I'm liking them a lot. |

That's a nice spread of peppers! Hate to admit it but my peppers did 10X better than my tomatoes, and I didn't have to spray them with anything...only organically fertilized them once... ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

4 Tabasco plants bunched too close together but still pumping out the peppers, what a pain to pick all these little peppers.

Tabasco is a beautiful plant full of different colors that lasts for months, and they make a sauce so good that they are used commercially. If anyone were to ask me about a 4-5' tall edible ornamental looking pepper - tabasco would be my answer. |

Big Jim and Lumbre are 2 distinct varieties of Hatch chiles. Here's some brief info on them.
