The Nifty Fifty went well in that basically every participant in the swap (right around 50) received all of the NF varieties. There were only about 25 NF varieties sent in. But still, packing those varieties was much easier than sorting out all of the rest of the swap.
For the next swap, I'll continue to include participants wish lists (which was the original intent of the swap). After that, I may go to only having participants contact me about what varieties they would like to send in, with me giving a thumbs up or thumbs down (all due to whether those varieties have been in the swap in abundance, or not). Extra donations would always be welcome. |

Are we ready to start planning the next Nifty50 or Nifty100? I would like to contribute this time around.

The Nitty fitty or the Plenty twenty or even the Hungry hundred, count me in. Lets see how this works ... we bag, we mail, we dump on Gary and he does all the work. Yep, sounds like a winner.

I'm thinking about adding 1 to 2 pepper varieties to the Nifty Fifty part of the MMMM swap, if any participants are up to the seed saving. Past swaps tell me that a non-bell sweet and a medium intesity hot would be the most desired.
Participants would get back ~49 tomato varieties and the other NF pepper. But, they would also get first choice of all of the pepper varieties that come into the regular part of the swap. If anyone is up to it, please PM me your possible variety for my approval, as I'm looking for something rare that hasn't aleady been in the previous swaps. |

I'd like to participate, too. Perhaps I can send in a (new?) pepper, but the seedling is still too small to say if I can save a lot of seeds.

I’m in this year Gary, and could send in a non-bell sweet! Or a hot....

I'm in for the tomatoes. Let us know when you want a list of our potential tomato varieties.
