Default Sweetie #6

I was digging through old seed and came across a packet of Sweetie #6. It's a Butterscotch melon that is no longer available. The seed is from 1997, but I did a germination test and it looks like I'm going to get 80% germination, at least.

Butterscotch melons seem pretty rare these days, I'm wondering if there is any chance of dehybrizing this one.

Any thoughts? Anyone want a project?

I'd be happy to trial a few seeds for you and save the F2 seeds. Should I send you a PM now? I haven't swapped seed via Tomatoville yet so I'm not familiar with the formalities. I can send you some Tularosa Market melon seeds, as well as some of a certain Pueblo Indian heirloom melon.
