Can't wait! I just planted out 110 "sprout jacks" from 4", have about 400 "pull starts" will be ready to plant next week, and a lot of tubers to plant come mid-May. I also have a few hundred OCA starts in 4", and a few pounds of OCA tubers to plant mid-May. That's just the start!

How many diffrent Oca's are you planing on planting Doug??
well today i got the last Catriona dug and in the shed,thats 160kg now in storage. Started on Lo Owl Skycap,just did a few plants to see how they look,so wow some lovely big spuds coming out of the ground from these this year. ![]()

Pretty that Lo Owl Skycap. Having 160kg of storage potatoes is more than I can imagine, this winter you will have plenty to enjoy!

I just received a few more varieties from a friend Chris Homanics, bringing my variety count to around 30. I am also going to be selling plants and produce at a local farmers market starting in may. I have been potting up either oca or potato starts by the hundreds per day it seems. |
