Default The Good and the Bad

Realized something about gardening just recently:

The Good: We start planting seeds 8 to 10 weeks before the frost free date, when it's cold and mostly dark outside. So that let's us bring a little bit of spring into our lives when it's still mostly winter.

The Bad: I was planning for some fall crops and trying to get time to late start some annuals and I found myself thinking (in early June) "Ahhhh, the summers almost over!!!!"
