Nah, I don't want strange people coming to my house and I don't have the transportation to go to theirs. I'll just buy some from Home Depot. I'm not crazy about the bucket look, although the rain gardens with their rows of white are very tidy and appealing!
I love the idea of building wood boxes to contain the buckets, though. Genius. |

I got some for free from the bakery at my local grocery store, Safeway. They get cake frosting in the buckets and had a gigantic stack of them in the back.

that's the spirit!
finally decided to do something about the glut of tomatoes, so i made 2 gallons of tomato soup (not pictured). as for the tasty german lunchbox tomatoes, i decided to dehydrate them. this is my first ever attempt at using a dehydrator. i picked it up at a garage sale. we'll see how this goes: also feel compelled to post this pic of one of my bigger cucumbers (sikkim): |

That is one AMAZING cucumber!!!!
How are you finding the German Lunchbox? I was considering picking up some seeds since it sounds right up my alley -- lunchbox sized and meant for fresh eating. |
