Default D.V. Burrell

Just wondering if anyone knows if they went out of business?

I ordered pea seeds from them last year and was very happy with what they sent me. Their website has been down for a long time now.

Jim,

You may have got an answer before now, but it looks like their website is up and running. I need to get a order placed soon. For anyone else interested, the melons that Carolyn received from me last year came directly from Rocky Ford, where the seed company is located, and I am sure they sell seeds. They are also noted for some of their
onion seed, although it may not be in great supply.

Thanks Pondgardener

They sent me a catalog a little while ago but I had already ordered my seeds for this season. So maybe next season!

Burrell is one of the few companies I order from on a regular basis (corn, chard, and peas). Their rates have gone up a bit in recent years, but what with the exorbitant postal increases on packages in recent years, whose haven't. The seed has always been high quality, delivery has been prompt, and they offer mid-sized quantities (such as 1/2 pound) for no additional shipping. I usually order by phone, so can't vouch for the website.
