At which leaf stage should I start hardening off? I know I have to do a really good job of hardening off, just do not know when to begin. I can plant at any time, so timing it for a frost date is not necessary.
Thanks, John |

I start hardening off about a week before planting and the seedlings are about 10-12 inches tall, but like you say you have no temperature problems. Most of my hardening is to acclimate the plants to sun and wind.
