Someone I hadn't met yet (on another gardening site) sent me 5 seeds from what she said were Early Girl seeds. This strange looking (and acting, with stop and go growth) is the only sprout/seedling from 3 seeds. It's so tiny and doesn't even look like a tomato variety.
These photos were taken today, it's only about 1/2 inch tall, it was sown on the first of this month and germinated 6d later. It is now 24 days old. The other tomato varieties that were sown the same day rapidly outgrew it and got potted up: with this little stranger being transferred to a newly sprouted flat of tomato seedlings. When THEY matured and were potted up, I didn't have anyplace else to put it, so I potted up this tiny "EG" seedling. |

I wondered if it was just my computer! I couldn't make it out either. I think it is a tomato plant.
Usually if a plant is a runt, I just get rid of it and start a new one. |

I don't have a smart phone. I usedx my new Canon point-n-shoot on Auto...it zooms, makes a panoramic view and takes video. It doesn't seem to have a macro option.
(The last camera I had was a Polaroid!!! LOL) |

To pull back, take a non blurry photo and then crop it might work. I do believe, based on the shape of the leaves that it is a tomato but it's stunted for some reason so I would 86 it.
