I'm sure I did, and the conclusion was that the ribbed one was the Coure d Beauf, not that Antan one that they were offering?

Sorry, I didn't take the time to go back in this thread to see if it was here or in another thread.

Carolyn, who thinks it may have been in a thread that Scott started when he asked if anyone could ID a variety shown in a picture someone from France had shown him and I googled the label. Yes, that was it/

Sorry Carolyn and Narnian, I saw your general link to the company but i guess I didn't click on Narnian's link because I hadn't seen the photo's from the range until I saw the ones Al@nC posted above. I just posted the pdf for the descriptions not realising that essentially the same thing had already been posted.

I think some others also failed to click the link, which is why the discussion has gone on rather than everyone realising that it was Cœur de Bœuf.

I finally got a response from the company. Very bizarre indeed for a company selling heirlooms:

Merci pour votre message et votre intérêt pour les tomates Saveurs d’Antan Prince de Bretagne. Je suis désolée, mais nous ne communiquons pas les noms des variétés que nous produisons.

French is NOT my 1st or second or 3rd language.

I got as far as.... thank you for your message and your interest for the tomatoes__________ but then I faded away from there on out and did not want to spend the time getting the rest translated.

Did it say something like I'm sorry but there's no way I can tell you about those varieties.

Sorry, it says, I am sorry, but we don't inform people about the names of our varieties.

Now that's ridiculous b/c you had named it and we already knew about it from the link Narnian had shared with us.

Whatever, as is oft said.
