Karen, gorgeous gorgeous! Count me in for growing your tomato! Although we are north, we are having very warm weather here in Montreal, for how long who knows? But an early black tomato that tastes great, who could argue with that! Would love to help trial them for you.

Karen,
Reading about your largest tomato ever (1 lb 14.4 ounces) ![]() ![]() Gary P.S. If you ever get seeds from the duds, and decide they are too late to continue trialing, there's always a home to take in such orphans. ![]() |

September 24 picked the last of the outdoor tomatoes today. still a few in the greenhouse. all of these my F3's. Only a few of the bicolour left, they were earlier but still lots of the Black ribbed hearts.
First ripe one July 13 from this 10 x 10 foot bed. It was a great year and I am really looking forward to the F4 season next year. https://www.facebook.com/NorthernGar...ada?fref=photo KarenO |

I'm not a frequent poster but have done a lot of lurking here for a few years now... I cannot believe this is the first I've heard of your breeding activities. Awesome work. I'm really impressed by that 1 lb, 14 ouncer!
Thanks so much for putting the effort in to sharing. |

KarenO, what a treat! Great harvest.
They are beautiful fruits of your labor. Girl, hope next year is better than this one. Enjoy. I picked about 25 pounds of green tomatoes at the end of last season, they lasted until December. Nice season!

Karen, that picture looks like one side of my garage. Best hopes/wishes for the next season - may the F4's exceed your wildest expectations!

Getting toward the end of the harvest, still a few from the greenhouse to ripen though. These are the last of my midnight sun F3s. Ripe fruit from July through to October. Happy with how things have gone this year and have seed from the best stashed away for 2016. Thanks for all the comments and support.
