Thanks for all the replies and compliments.
Update. Below is another Orange Russian 117 tomato from the same plant. This I believe is a little more typical of the coloration for this variety.

Yep Carolyn, that Orange Russian 117 sure is beauty and thanks for the “sunshine” again Marsha.

It may get below freezing tonight so I have been picking like crazy the last two days. I had a hard time telling the difference between “Russian 117 Not” and “Olena”.
Below are some interesting pictures of the “Russian 117 Not” next to “Olena”. “Russian 117 Not” pictured on the left and “Olena” pictured on the right. What do you think?

It is back to the garden for me, Much work to do before sundown.

So did the last pretty orange bi color come from the same plant as the more yellow one?

Yep Worth, Same plant.

(Edit) On second thought I am not so sure they were from the same plant. I did grow two plants.

We do not have to wait til tomorrow morning. I have some pictures of the Olena Ukrainian tomato plants I grew this year and it sure looks like a PL to me. So the mystery continues.

Hi Worth and thanks for the question. I have saved seeds from both the largest bi-colored and the largest mostly yellow fruits. I intend to do grow outs of the mostly yellow ones in hopes of being able to stabilize a large yellow. They both tasted excellent.

Yes it is PL and I should know since I'm the one who introduced it.

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Olena_Ukrainian

John Bartkowski used to come to my tomato field and get all the fruits he wanted and in return he gave me seeds for what we named Olena Ukrainian, she was his neighbor, and also a hot pepper she brought from the Ukraine, butI've forgotten its name right now.

Agreat variety, andnot just my opinion.

Thanks for your input Carolyn. Yes, I agree, Olena Ukrainian is a great variety.
And thanks for sharing this variety as you have with so many other great varieties.
