typically i don't like MILD (mild tomatoes are bland and tasteless to me) and i've found that yellow and orange tomatoes generally tend to be mild, not all but most of those that i have grown. i got azoychka free one year when i ordered from tgs and decided to try it. i was really pleased. they are extremely early typically 42 dtm each year and taste darn good but they are always the 1st and when the really good pinks, reds, purples and blacks start to come in i give away the azoychka. but they are very good for a yellow and super early.

My azoychka leaves are a little weird. The newer leaves all seem to flip up so the underside of the leaf is facing up. As the plant grows they seem to straighten out and look normal. I have one in a container that is getting quite large that does this and a smaller on in-ground that also does this. Is this normal for this variety? None of the other plants I have done that this year.

I grew Azoychka one year and was very pleased with it all around. I don't think I've yet found a better early variety.

Yes, I grew it this year and I have been very happy with it. It was productive and fairly early. I can describ the taste slightly tangy.
The yellow ones in the picture are Azoychka.
Needless to say, I will grow it in 2016. Maybe 2 plants this time. It is an indet that grew over 8 ft in my garden.

I found a few pictures from when I grew it, which is not recently. Maybe I will next year.

I've been growing it for the last 2 years - one of my favourites! Definitely coming back in 2016.

Well spoken.
Azoychka was my number one beef steak type this past season.
This picture was early in the season. It kept pumping more.

It's a wonderfully dependable and tasty variety - not lacking in the 'acid' department. My mother instantly fell in love and now demands I grow it for her every summer...
