Your pruning is remarkable.
How do you keep them from toasting?
Any how, great job.
Someday when they are growing true i will release them into the wild for all to enjoy. Sunday and Monday it was upwards of 110 and my maters felt it. They did not get to sunburned but the ones that were close to ripe basically cooked inside. They are all soft and are no good for eating.

I know your pain. DE should have helped... were they covered with it?

Dusted but not covered with a spray mixture.

This sounds quite familiar, with the anthos at least.

How was the Oxheart Jerusalem?

It was amazing i have had quite a few off of this plant but this one was the largest and the best tasting. It had that "old timey" taste of a brandywine with perfect juice to meat ratio. A couple of the smaller ones i picked had more meat than juice and would have been great for paste or sauce

I've had a few get cooked as well. It is just so dang hot now. I have looked at and considered the dust mizer but keep wishing they had an attachment for a backpack blower. I already have one and I could dust the neighborhood in a hour or 2 I may try rigging something up and experimenting, especially in the little greenhouse.

So we had a yard sale Saturday for the first time in a long time. I put out 4 flats of tomatoes i picked the morning of. I figured i would be bringing in most of them aside from the ones my family ate throughout the the morning. To my surprise i sold 22 pounds at 2 bucks a pound. Of course i threw in a bunch of extra for good measure.

Corno di Toro and an unnamed pepper i got from a guy at work. His Grandmother has been growing this pepper since she lived in the Azores, Portugal 50 years ago.
