Ooh, those are lovely! I've picked four eggplants so far - two Caspers, a Tsakoniki, and an Orient Express -- but it's early days here in the Northeast... What variety are the pale purple ones?

The purple, slender eggplant are Bonnie "Ichiban" plants - and they are tender, delicious, and sweet - beautiful roasted.
