RKN isn't an issue for me, but nothing gets through plastic. You want UV-treated stuff if the sun is going to hit it for very long.

Exactly! I was about to comment about my having T-post envy. (Also I'm overwhelmed with admiration of your workmanship, Robert!)

Not fpor tomatoes but for other stuff.
At this time I have no idea how I am going to trellis or support some of the vine I have growing.
It looks like I am going to have to buy two giant fat posts and sink them in the ground with post hole diggers and a chipping bar.
If I do this one will be at the end of the drive and the other at the other end with a wire running the length and the power pole on the middle.
The power pole doesn't have ground wire running down it so I dont have to worry about that.

I keep stringing and Florida Weaving my tomatoes.NO cages this year. I do a ot of pruning lower leaf branches and suckers, as much as I can keep up with over 50 plants.

Peppers are tied to bamboo sticks, just to support them when it is windy.

In my other garden ( call it 5 sisters ) I have room for vining plants ( cukes, melon, WM ) to just run/sprawl free at will. I just guide them at the direction I want them to run. Beans are at the feet of corn. They can climb or crawl. Most of them are bush type.
