The foolish Spaniards,Ponce de Leon actually trudged throughout Fl.,lost men,dragged ships across sandbars,macheted mangroves.Never found the gold(fountain of youth they say).Named a county after him.Did not realize it was all around him.

Not to mention the hogs they turned loose that went into Indians gardens and tore them up.
Or the Rabbits and Fox that the British turned loose in Australia so the place would be more like home. Here in Texas and many other places it is the chinaberry tree and the tallow berry tree AKA Chinese Tallow. |
