Awesome! It seems to have 3 cotyledons, I'm assuming that just means it's extra special?

That Mocha Splash will set almost like a minor multiflora. I love that one so much.

That happened to my mother, but thankfully in the off-season so we could plan around it.
Can you do a sun study to determine how many hours of sun you're getting? And I bought this stuff, white garden cloth, to reflect more light onto my shaded plants: https://www.ebay.com/itm/DEWITT-WHIT...kAAMXQDDZR3Iin Nan |

This fence is on the south side of the property, but some light comes through the pallets. I have peppers on the other side of the tree (to the right of the teepees). There's no wood fence there, so I might throw some extra tomato plants over there. I'm just gonna hope for the best, and appreciate picking tomatoes in the shade. I also have some space on the patio, that's in full sun, maybe I'll do containers instead.

Ok, it's ok. Not great, but it seems to get about 4 hours of sun now, plus what filters through the pallets. Not ideal, but whatever. I'll still put some on the patio, because I have them.

4 hours! That's rough. Well, one does what one can.

Nope, back to angry. I saw them outside and just got mad. I've been growing these tomatoes since February, this is part of my income in the summer. Thought about making an anonymous complaint to the city that my neighbors put up an 8 foot fence (6 is the limit here) without a permit (I'm assuming), but then I'd be afraid they'd put up a real one that blocks the sun more.

Perhaps you could try to talk to them and tell them that the fence is against code. Do they have a permit for the fence? I doubt it. Even if they cut it down by 2 feet it might give you an hours more sun.

Huge thunderstorms last night, buildings downtown were flooded. But my tomato plants sure enjoyed it!
