Default Interesting volunteer...

Looking forward to see what this brings. Usually my volunteers produce small tiny tomatoes, I have two of those going right now, but this one is certainly not the same. Healthy plant, large flowers, and a 'nipple' on the first one!! Lol

First pic is her growing in the middle of peppers and beets, bleech!!
Second pic is her flowers
Third pic is her first and only fruit so far
Fourth pic is my usual looking volunteer

We'll see as the summer goes what I get.

Odd that it's NOT a tomato bed. It's my bed for all other veggies. Last tomato plant I had in it was a dwarf I put in it last year but it died of disease early and didn't produce fruit.

I love those volunteers. I have 3 or 4 small ones growing inside my garden bed and 3 just outside the bed where I can at least attach them to the fence as they grow. I got 2 or possibly 3 volunteer potatoes growing that I apparently overlooked last year at harvest. Those potatoes are crowding and shading out the cherry tomatoes I planted in those spots this year. Thus I shall allow at least 2 of the volunteers to grow just so I have some cherries. My bed started out all organized and now I have cages placed all over the place to accommodate all the volunteers Best laid plans an all that
