Default Girl Girl's Weird Thing

GGWT was one of my favorite tomatoes this year. Seeds came from Marsha I took a few cuttings last weekend to root for fall garden planting. Should have planted more than one of these!

Yesterday, I brought one to the mayor of the booming metropolis of Sturgis, an avid tomato grower and runs the local hardware store.

While mine have not been overly productive in terms of numbers they have been the largest in my garden. I picked one last night that was 16.8 oz. The plant so far has survived the septoria issues I had earlier and if the heat relents, may yet set some more fruit. (fingers crossed).

I just started Ted's seed saving process from Tania's website with Marsha's GGWT seeds. It's definitely a keeper and will be on my grow list next year again.

These pictures are making me drool! I would love to try this tomato. If it is half as good as it looks, it is a winner!

Carrie, I think I only have enough for Gardeneer, but I bet you can get seeds if you put up a request in the wanted forum, or if you wait until the MMMM, or if you wait until January when my next generation will be grown out.

If all goes well, I will be sending some GGWT into the swap and if Marsha needs I can save some for her offer too.

Thanks, Marsha, and it is nice to be able to follow this thread until then! I am really amazed at how beautiful this tomato is, and the flavor ratings are impressive!

Back in post #70 Jessleigh (origin of GGWT) offered free seed for pm! I don't what generation her seed is but that's another source as well.

I grew it from seed this year but my seedlings didn't get planted out in time and they were casualties of pesticide poisioining. I have a few seeds left from Marsha's seed offer this year and I'll be sure to get them in the ground in '17 as well.

quick plus for a Sturgis MS mention - never thought I'd see that

but, gorgeous tomato!

i gotta have some seeds, now, to diversify the MS strain of GGWT
