Portuguese Monster. I sliced the first one earlier this week and decided it was too tart for tomato sandwiches for my taste, so I froze the rest. I tried another one this morning and it was ok, but not sweet. The one I had today did not seem as tart as the one I had a few days ago, so ask for other opinions before growing this one!

Thanks Linda for the encouragement. I hope it's better as well next year. By the way I had a Matt's Wild Cherry grow from a volunteer that I planted last year which was a big beautiful full of fruit plant. but this year it too succumbed to the "black plague".

Riceloft Costoluto
Mine were a random pack I picked up in a store and I cannot find the package. They were supposed to be organic something though, which I did'nt care about just heard about the variety, saw it, and tried them. Maybe "seeds of change", could be name? Good stuff though, absolutely top notch. I will look more for the package and let you know.

can anyone help me with some Dana Dusky Rose or Liz Birt seeds. I live in Italy and Gary o'Sena grows really well here..when everything is drooping under our hot august sun...it just keeps going. I am thinking because it is a cross it does
much better...and so wanted some of it's brothers (sisters?) thanks in advance to whoever can help me |

1. Go to the main T'ville Gardening Forums Index page. 2. Click on Wanted Varieties. 3. Click on New Topic. 4. Give it a title and write your request in the box. More folks will likely see it there and come to your aid. Good luck! kath |

Antichevarieta (?Roberta) - I could send you a few seeds each of the 4 'sisters' as I call them. Liz Birt (my avatar and one of my favourites), Bear Creek, Dora and I guess you already have Gary'O Sena. Send me a PM with your address if you'd like them.

The person requesting the seeds is Roberta in Italy who sent me seed from Italy and I sent them to you this AM and she had asked me if I hade them and I said no, and told her to post her request in the Wanted subforum of the seed exchange. But when I came to General Discussion I saw she had posted it here, told her about the Wanted subforum again, and that I'd delete her post here, which ended in 2013,
So then you posted what I told her and the Salix came to the rescue and I'll em Roberta right now and call her attention to the post by Salix,, although I have her address as well. Problem solved. Carolyn
