Cooper River - fantastic pics!!! Could you tell how tall it was? And how many clusters did it set on one stem? How many days it took from planting to ripen fruit? I want to try it too this coming spring...

It's a mid-season determinate. Mine grew in a bush, 3-4' tall.

Here is an old thread about it: http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=20002

I wish I had more info. I left my journal out and my mutts got a hold of it, next day there was confetti. Started a new journal mid-oct.
As C_R and others stated, a bushy plant, sets about 3 big fruits per cluster, 4 ft.

1st entry states: "...lots of fruits then fizzles out, compact, lots of shoots, prune to 2 stems only..."
2nd: "9 big fruit, 1 plant, 7 gal, set fruit then fizzled, cold temp froze it in place."

Didn't realize it was a determinate, probably why I got large fruits. It was well fed too.
Started seed early Sep I think.

Thanks to both of you!
I'm a little confused, since on some of pics CR has a regular leaf, but a description on my source (Marianna's seeds) says it should have a potato leaf.
I wonder what type of leaf is the true to this type?

On another note, everything in hand for RGGS hybrid PVC build. It'll be a fun project with pops, gives him a chance to flex his carpentry muscles and scold me for something I do incorrectly.

It would be much easier and smoother if I fly solo, but I want to include him. Apologies to all for whom this fits, nevertheless, people in their late 70s can be a bit....er...um...headstrong.

In the end, I always end up picking up some wisdom, at least on the carpentry side of things.

Tell me about it-I'm a caregiver! But we love them. And we'll be old too. (Well, if I can let go of these darn cigarettes!)

This is something I wish we saw more of on Tomatoville. Pictures of the actual plant. It's nice to see the growth habit and gives a better understanding of what one can expect. Thumbs up!

Flavor country doesn't negate getting old, although it sure does stack the deck against you.

Glad to help. CR would work well on your balcony. My garden looks like your balcony right now, so I still owe you the global pic.

Yesterday I bought another package of the vine ripened cherries. The ones that were so good the first time. My salt shaker is busy-these are so good I'm munching them like you'd eat potato chips.
